Effective February 1, 2010, the State of Indiana is offering cash incentives through the new IHIP Incentive Program, which encourages homeowners to be energy efficient. An incentive up to $500.00 ($1000.00 for geothermal systems) will be paid to homeowners that install Energy Star qualifying systems in their homes. For more information go to www.energy.in.gov.
As a "kicker" you can receive up to a $1000.00 rebate from Lennox with the purchase and installation of a qualifying Lennox Home Comfort System by Februaty 26, 2010!
Plus, you can receive a 30% federal tax credit up to $1500.00 on eligible equipment, and an additional $250.00 rebate on 95% AFUE Lennox furnaces from the NIPSCO EnergyHarvest program!

Community Service Initiative
Kent Heating and Air Conditioning is pleased to announce that we are partnering once again with Rebuilding Together-Valparaiso to improve the energy efficiency of two homes in the Valparaiso area. Allen Kent worked with Gary Overmyer of Rebuilding Together-Valparaiso, to design and facilitate the installation of new Lennox energy efficient equipment by the Kent Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. installation team.
A new 92% AFUE Lennox furnace (100% donated by Lennox Industries, Glendale Heights, IL), humidifier, and a high efficiency air cleaner was installed on January 26, 2010, in a Valparaiso residence after the water heater was relocated the previous day to allow the furnace installation. This system will reduce the owner's heating costs by 35%.
A 95% AFUE Lennox furnace, air conditioner, humidifier, and high efficiency air cleaner was installed January 25-27, 2010, in another residence in the Valparaiso area. Kent installation crews are also sealing the entire supply and return air duct system in the home for maximum energy savings and health benefits. Substantial energy savings and health benefits will be realized in this home.
